How it started...
Arabic Flashcards began as a family project — a way to make learning Arabic more natural, personal, and fun.
When I was in preschool, my parents wanted me to stay connected to my roots and language. I started taking Arabic lessons on weekends, but we quickly realized that most online tools focused only on Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). At home, though, we spoke Levantine Arabic — the dialect of everyday life, filled with expressions, humor, and warmth.
Over the years, we searched for something that would help me learn new words, understand real conversations, and build comprehension in the Arabic I actually heard around me. Most resources were too formal, too grammar-heavy, or just not engaging.
So my father and I decided to create our own solution. I brought the passion and design; he brought the tech. Together, we built Arabic Flashcards — a website focused on expanding vocabulary and strengthening comprehension through the Levantine dialect.
Our goal is simple: to help learners understand and communicate in Arabic as it’s spoken every day — not just memorize rules, but truly connect with the language.
We’re proud of what we’ve built and invite you to explore it!
Yallah, let's start learning Back to Home
